{"id":2769,"date":"2019-03-31T18:06:54","date_gmt":"2019-03-31T18:06:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/braagas.cz\/?page_id=2769"},"modified":"2026-01-28T18:48:19","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T18:48:19","slug":"o-kapele","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/braagas.com\/en\/o-kapele\/","title":{"rendered":"About us"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">BraAgas is a predominantly female band devoted to traditional music from across Europe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Their repertoire includes Sephardic songs, music from Scandinavia and the Balkans, and in recent years also traditional songs from the Czech Republic, especially from Moravia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The band has been playing together since January 2007 and has built a colourful touring history, performing at festivals such as the Rainforest World Music Festival in Borneo, EBU Folk Music Festival, Sur Jahan in India, TFF Rudolstadt, Rock for People, or Colours of Ostrava.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">BraAgas have released six albums. Two of them \u2013 <i>Tapas<\/i> and <i>Yallah!<\/i> \u2013 received the Czech Music Academy Award \u201cAnd\u011bl\u201d in the World Music category.
